The Mon Loisir Group
F.U.E.L. is a member of the Mon Loisir Group, one of the country's largest and most dynamic industrial groups. Its activities include tourism, manufacturing, construction, and real estate.
The group has already completed several property development projects and also manages a 98,000-hectare agricultural concession in Mozambique.

F.U.E.L. - the company
F.U.E.L. stems from the gradual fusion of some 30 sugar plantations over the last two centuries, including Beau Rivage which ceased operations in 1871.
Quoted on the local stock exchange, the company holds a significant portfolio of shares. It is also a major supplier of electricity to the national grid.

Real estate
F.U.E.L. owns 10,800 hectares in the east of Mauritius, of which 8,000 are under sugar cane plantation.
2,000 hectares, retaining all their natural beauty, a bound with game and are reserved for deer hunting.
The remaining 800 hectares are currently used for a variety of other activities.

The F.U.E.L. sugar factory
The F.U.E.L. sugar factory is the largest and most efficient in the country. It has a production capacity of 120,000 tons of sugar per year - nearly 20% of the island's national production.
